When Harper’s military dad was coming home to meet his baby for the first time, Mom decided to sprinkle a bit of creativity into the momentous occasion. Drawing inspiration from Carly Rae Jepsen’s 2012 hit “Call Me Maybe,” she crafted a signboard that playfully read, “Hey, I just met you, and this is crazy, but my name’s Harper, and I’m your baby!”
For a side note, “Call Me Maybe” spent nine consecutive weeks at the top of the Billboard Hot 100. Just like Harper’s introduction, the song became a sensation in its own right, still resonating with people in delightful ways years after its release.
