Pauley Perrette rose to fame, portraying forensic scientist Abby Sciuto in ‘NCIS.’ She was one of the original cast members of the long-running crime drama on CBS. After exiting the show in 2018, the actress made a TV come back through the TV series ‘Broke’ in 2020, playing the single-mother Jackie Dixon.
A fun fact about Perrette is that being cast as her character in ‘NCIS’ turned out to be a case of art imitating life. The Louisiana native studied criminal justice at Valdosta State University, and one of her early ambitions was to become an FBI agent. She may not have fulfilled that goal in real life, but at least she played a role close to her dream job.
