Joanna Lumley & Stephen Barlowe – Married for 36 Years
Joanna Lumley became a household name when she starred in the “Absolutely Fabulous” sitcom and won two BAFTAs for her efforts. She has been a regular on television screens for over five decades and, in 2013, received the Special Recognition Award at the National Television Awards.
Lumley has been married to Stephen Barlow, a music conductor, since 1986 and remembers their first encounter fondly, saying that Barlow looked amazing in his coat and she was instantly smitten. The couple like to give each other the freedom they desire, and Lumley says that her frequent extensive travels do not affect their marriage in any way.
