His notable roles include Dr. John Clemens from ‘Alien 3’ and Benedict, the villain in ‘Last Action Hero.’ On the small screen, his most memorable portrayal was probably that of Tywin Lannister, the cruel patriarch of House Lannister in ‘Game of Thrones.’
Despite being in the industry for a long time, Dance does not appear to be slowing down anytime soon—he was cast in ‘Netflix’s’ ‘The Sandman’ in 2021. Aside from acting, the star also delved into screenwriting and directing, with 2004’s ‘Ladies in Lavender as his first project.
