Playing George McFly in “Back to the Future” became the breakthrough for actor-filmmaker Crispin Glover, opening the way for his appearance in “River’s Edge.” While he’s American, his real estate investments have taken him abroad; he even owns a chateau in the Czech Republic. He had to restore the Konárovice Castle, though.
The 17-bedroom, 20-acre estate, built in 1661 as a baroque castle, underwent a rebuild in 1775 to its existing Rococo form. Its price may be undisclosed, having been purchased by Crispin in 2003, but it’s been listed as an Airbnb. The former Communist medical testing facility was owned by an opera-writing count.
