Beverley Callard – Coronation Street’s Liz MacDonald
Beverley Callard has had quite a journey before landing her breakthrough role in the long-running television soap opera Coronation Street where she played Liz MacDonald. Before this, Beverley has been an important part of the BBC Three sitcom Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, where she played the beloved Flo Henshaw as she excelled at comedy.
After leaving Coronation Street for the first time in 1999, she has had a troubled history of leaving the show and returning to it. In 2020, it seems like she bid the show her final goodbye after an on-and-off relationship with it for nearly thirty-six years.
