Simon Gregson – Coronation Street’s Steve McDonald
We’re sure Simon Gregson had the mindset that starting earlier would yield him better results as he pursued his acting career while a student at The Kingsway School. Simon was looking to get the part for one of the ‘McDonald Twins’ on the series. Fortunately, he was selected together with a fellow student in his school.
Simon debuted the series in 1989 and did a solid twenty-six years before his exit. Of course, Simon built his considerable reputation during this period and surprised fans with his return to the set in 2016. Although he keeps making several guest appearances on shows like All Star Family Fortunes, Through The Keyhole etc.
