Having met at the 2007 ESPYs, Michael Phelps and Nicole Johnson dated secretly before going their separate ways in 2011. Yet as fate would have it, the two lovebirds rekindled their love after being on and off for about eight years. The Olympic swimmer and the former beauty queen tied the knot in 2016, a few months after welcoming their firstborn.
Just like any other marriage, theirs has not been short of challenges, and Nicole admits that these challenges have brought them even closer and strengthened their commitment to one another. Blessed with two more children, Michael and Nicole couldn’t be happier that they chose to do life together.
