Chris Wallace was born for broadcast journalism. His father Mike Wallace was a reporter, and his stepfather Bill Leonard was also a journalist and president of Fox News from 1979 to 1982. Wallace himself studied journalism at Harvard University, where he was also involved in the campus radio station.
He turned down Yale Law School to pursue his journalism. Wallace got his big break in 1975 when he joined NBC and spent 14 years as a reporter for WNBC-TV. He moved on to CBS and ABC hosting an array of shows before moving to Fox News Sunday, where he now earns $4 million a year.
