The View offers viewers a variety of takes on current issues thanks to its hosts sometimes clashing political stances. Unfortunately, this same selling point has caused turmoil on set. Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who’s a conservative, lost her seat at the table in 2013 after a decade of co-hosting the show due to a shift in the program’s political direction.
But that wasn’t the end of her TV career. She eventually joined the morning show Fox & Friends and worked on it until 2015. More recently, Hasselbeck published a book chronicling her faith journey and how it factored in her work. The 43-year-old TV personality has also written books on the gluten-free diet.
