No formal announcement has been made yet, but many are speculating that After the Bell co-host Melissa Francis has been let go at Fox. The most probable reason? The Little House on the Prairie actress turned journalist’s reported battle against alleged gender-based pay disparity at the network.
Luckily, Francis, who’s been a regular at Fox’s business channel since 2012, has a lot to fall back on. She holds an economics undergraduate degree from Harvard, for one. The 47-year-old anchor also has past experiences with other media outlets, having worked for CNBC and CNET.
